Fashion Ethics

Her lips were made bigger and her neck was made longer and narrower and her eyes were made bigger.

No because it is false and doesn't show the true person. Its false advertising because there product cant really do all those things.

When its used to sell products

Only blemishes because they are not always there.

Usually trying to sell something in the fashion industry so its all false and photojournalism is just taking photos of what you see. You shouldn't be able to alter any of them because its just not true and authentic.

Photojournalism Ethics

I think photojournalists should be absolute because you shouldn't be able to alter your photos.

A photo can capture the truth if you get the right picture at the right time with no altering

Just to fix water spots and scratches on the negatives.

Because people will just alter the photos if they do not lay down a strict policy

Ethics

The university of Wisconsin-Madison used an altered or photoshoped photo in there brochure that they sent out to interested students. They put in a head of an African American male at a football game. It was really just a crowd of white people. They could no use that because it did not propose the idea of how ethnically diverse the college was so they had to change it or get a new one. The school apologized to everyone for the false photo.

I think they were wrong because first of all they did not have permission to use his face and it was pretty much false advertising the college.

I think this one is the most unethical because it makes you think that the solider wants to help and is trying to calm them down but in reality he wasn't.

I think this was is the least unethical because all they changed was the composition to make it darker.

  • She used interviews from residents like pastor rock and background music. The music was one of the people she met singing.
  • Meaning full pictures with music and also people talking that live there.
  • The most interesting multimedia effect to me was the interactive map.

After printing

Go in the completly dark room and pop off the cap to the film and roll it in the loader and put in the light safe canister. than you take it out and develope the film with the special film developing process then you clean the negatives off. you put them in the holder after they have dried. you look at them and pick one but it in the enlarger holder focus it with the knobs and appurature. once it is all in focus you take a test strip out of the light proof box's. you put the paper in the esel and you set the timer to 3 than you cover up a 2/3rds of the paper and let it go. then move it to only covering 1/3 than change the time to 2 and let it run. than take the cover off completly than you let it go once more at 1 sec. Than you take it out of the elsel and develope it and you decided which time looks the best. than you take a whole paper out of the light proof box's put it in the esel and let it go on the desired time than develop it.

In this photo, the big part of the building still standing is in the right third of the photo and there really is nothing else that big in the whole picture so it makes a good picture.

CAMERA!

The differences between the SLR and Pinhole cameras are the aperture can be changed on the SLR and not on the pinhole. The shutter speed can also be controlled allot better with the SLR. The SLR camera also uses film instead of photo paper. Some things they have in common are how they are exposed to light.
